The biggest news to happen in the world in the past few years is that of the recent economic collapse and subsequent loss of jobs. This economic downturn did not affect a certain country, it affected nearly every one.

It didn’t matter which part of the globe you were on, you were affected by the economic collapse. Canadian jobs, American jobs and uk jobs were all affected by this economic collapse. The reasons for the recent economic collapse are vast and many, but there is no denying that it has had a tremendous effect on the way that countries are doing their daily business.

This recent downturn had as much to do with economics as it did with politics. Depending on who you talk to, they may say that this was just as much a political downturn as it was economic.

The United States is the global centre for money, and when they are hurting, the whole world feels the effects. This is why so many countries size up their currency with that of the United States. If your country's currency matches up well with that of the United States, then chances are you are a wealthy country.

This is why when the United States' currency begins to shrink, so does anyone else’s who depends on it. Hopefully, just as fast as the global economy fell, it will eventually grow.
